Olga Vaganova is a Russian ice skater from the Holiday on Ice show Supernova.
Biography[]
She was born in the summer of 1994 in Yekaterinburg, Russia. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics and management from the University of Ural, but she believes that her first profession is skating. Her professional career began in 1998 at an Olympic Reserve sports school. She was four years old at the time. It was her mother’s dream, but it became her own passion and she has been skating for 20 years.
Olga was a participant in and winner of many Russian and international competitions in solo figure skating. In 2007, she started working as a coach for children with disabilities. Some of them could not hear or speak, and some had cerebral palsy syndrome. In 2009, Olga was invited to work in the ice theatre in her hometown where she learned how to skate in a pair, and performed the parts of Aurora in Sleeping Beauty and Marie in The Nutcracker.
She has been working in ice shows in Europe for three years, and this year is her second year with Holiday on Ice.
