Marco Garavaglia is an Italian Holiday on Ice skater who skated in the show Time.
Biography[]
Professional ice skater, electronic artist, stage and on-ice choreographer, percussionist, musician, DJ and multi-sport/performance/music instructor – Marco is an all-round artist.
He represented the Italian National Ice Skating team in national and international competition for six years. Marco has won numerous medals at Italian Championships and in international competitions, including two medals in the prestigious ISU Junior Grand Prix Series. In 2015 he was a finalist in the TV show Skating with the Stars in partnership with Disney actress Clara Alonso.
As a professional, Marco regularly performs in the main cast of an on-ice performing arts company touring Italy and he worked both as line captain and semi-principal pair skater in Holiday on Ice in 2016–2017.
Aside from the ice, Marco expresses his artistic talents by writing and performing music, and performing as a lead dancer and choreographer in a performing arts company for alternative percussion music, with which he has performed in more than one hundred shows across Europe in the past five years. Marco studied various kinds of dance, ranging from ballroom to classical dance, hip-hop and breakdance. Academically, he attained a degree in Audio Engineering and entertainment management from Middlesex University London in 2012.[1]
